The calling of a servant into God’s ministry can be one of the most frightening, yet rewarding, events to happen in a believer’s life.  However, there is a truth here that we ALL must be aware of and that is:  we are ALL called into the ministry once we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior!!  The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) gives us clear direction to be actively involved in sharing the Good News, and in Isaiah 49 and 50 we see not only the commissioning of God’s servant, but the promise of protection that God offers when we serve Him.  What we must settle is will we serve God, or ourselves in this life?  God bless you!
