Often we think of miracles as “great bible stories” that we can study – but then we willingly choose to ignore the miracles that we can see and experience every day. For example: If Jesus did nothing else for you after giving you His gift of salvation, wouldn’t that be a tremendous miracle? (Especially when we consider our natural, sinful, rebellious nature?!?)
The changing of water into wine, healing the lame, and raising the dead are extraordinary examples of His supernatural authority, but as a personal application they MUST lead us to desire to draw closer to Him because of Who He is!
Will you make the choice to submit to His authority to be able to look for (and see) His miracles in your life? Or, will we continue to try to have a little bit of Jesus and a little bit of you and simply “hope” for the best? God bless you this week.
