Faith in what Jesus can do is most often expressed within the confines of our human understanding, and usually when we become the most desperate for relief of a life struggle. However, God has given us the gift of faith not only for the “extraordinary” things, but also to depend on during the everyday, mundane, events of our life.
When we come to Jesus for comfort, relying on Him to work through the power of the Holy Spirit, are we coming because we desire Him to simply do something for us, or, because we confess and know that only He can help because we are already fully reliant on Him? This is where faith begins to be put into action, and we know that only He can do all things in the will of the Father!
