Wouldn’t it be great if we could walk on water? Just think about the time we could save being able to cross the smallest lake without needing alternate transportation!
While it might be easy to focus on the “convenience” of something, we need to see (because we can easily miss it) that not everything that is easy is good for us outside of the power & authority of Jesus the Christ!
When Peter was called to come out of the boat (seen in Matthew, Chapter 14), he was able because of the authority found IN the One who called Him, and for you and I we must see, learn, and heed this also. We need to be sure we are working within the will of God, the authority of God, and the power of God if we are ever going to be successful in this life. Will we?
