Avoid the Enemy

1 Peter 5:8, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

Here’s a life lesson to ponder: Lions do NOT need to be taught how to eat. They don’t need to be taught how to kill. It is their instinct to hunt down prey and devour it. So, if our adversary the devil prowls around in the same manner … should we REALLY be spending time hanging out with him and doing the things he does?

The enemy will NEVER show the affects of addiction like losing a family, being fired from a job, scrambling to cover lies, etc. He only shows the “party” … don’t be fooled and tempted by the glamour of sin.
