Isaiah gives us one of the clearest indications that the time to receive Jesus will not always be available to this world, which includes it will not always be available to you and I. He prophetically writes in Isaiah 55:6, “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.”
The implication from the word “can” is that one day He will no longer be near, He will no longer be available, He will no longer hear our cry for help. This warning, this invitation, from our loving God and Savior is truly all we need to face the challenges of this world. Will you hear and receive it – or will you continue to deny His invitation?
