Accepting Jesus and serving Him as Lord means that our future far outweighs the current sufferings, challenges, and let downs that we face today. Isaiah records for us in Chapter 66, verse 1, “This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?”
Truly, what more could we ever need if our future is to be with Him, in this marvelous place that He has welcomed us into, that we could never recreate? Won’t you receive His free invitation to know His Son, Jesus, as your Lord to spend eternity with Him? This is the message of hope that Isaiah brought the nation of Israel, and one that we are now charged with accepting today.
