The Gospel of John is one of the most read, and yet can be one of the most misunderstood (or difficult to comprehend) books of the New Testament. Namely, because of its intricate weaving of biblical truths and lessons that must apply to us today, because they were the actual words of Jesus Christ.
As we dive into this book this week at our church (Seasons Church in Prattville, AL), you are encouraged to remember that these are the words of the One that we call, “Lord”. They are precious. They are instructional. They are life-giving. And, they can sometimes be painful because they challenge us to change ideas, thoughts, and misconceptions of who we think Jesus is.
If you’ll approach this Gospel with this in mind, we believe YOU will witness your faith grow as we surround ourselves with Jesus’ very words of how to live successfully for Him. God bless you!
