The truth is always your most reliable, faithful weapon in this world of chaos. It is the one thing that we never have to struggle to remember because it is what happened, what was said, or what is needed without pretense or additional information.
When Jesus spoke the words, “I tell you the truth …”, He was offering more than just information; but a reliable path to walk, follow, and find freedom than anything we could conjure. As we go about our day-to-day events this week, will we walk in the truth of who Jesus is? Will we willingly surrender to His guidance in our life? Or, will we choose to take that wisdom and discard it for our own knowledge in hopes that everything will work out?
Truly, the choice is ours, and how we engage in it will determine whether we are really … free. God bless you.
