Do we believe?

Putting humanity’s standards on God’s abilities is done without even thinking about the effects those decisions might have.  In truth, doing this can often lead to doubt, uncertainty, and even (in the worst case) unbelief.  Jesus dealt with this often, especially when others did not believe that He was capable of doing the things that God actually sent Him to do! 

As a church, as a family, even as an individual believer, we all have a responsibility to ensure that our faith in Christ’s abilities is at the forefront, so when God speaks we are ready to move BECAUSE we are following Him.  As we continue our study in John ask yourself this question:  “Am I ready to respond when Jesus moves because of my devotion to Him?”  If the answer is “no”, what is keeping you from this?
