When it comes to testifying of what Jesus has done, there will always be dissenting voices that have to be weeded out. (The healing of a blind man in John 9 is one such example!) This man could have listened to those doubting and walked away from Jesus (happy to see but) skeptical – OR – he could have chosen to accept what Jesus has done, because of who He is, and proclaimed Him as being of (or from) God.
What we must do right now is absolutely no different. Jesus has come to make an impact in your life but to do so you must also make a choice: Will you follow Him earnestly and testify to what He has done, or, will you walk away and pretend that “you” are still the center of everything? When it comes to living for God, THIS IS the only choice that we must make today.
