Do you hear Him?

One of the most incredible truths that God offers us is an invitation to know Him, personally. Through the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, God has made a way that invites us to come – even going so far as to make the analogy of the shepherd holding open the gate for the sheep that belong to Him (see John 10:3).

To earnestly seek after God means that we realize that He first sought after us, and that is the most wonderfully, comforting, truth that we have the opportunity to embrace today. The challenging question is: “What will we do with it?”

Will we accept it and come in? Will we also invite others (which is the greatest commission we have)? Or, will we refuse to hear Him and instead be trapped outside of the protection of the Shepherd? God bless you.
