When faced with adversity, looking forward is always a welcomed practice – especially when we are struggling with current events and need something to build our hope on! In John 14, Jesus gives the disciples one of the clearest examples of this by promising to them the GIFT of the Holy Spirit to be sent by God, to them (and us).
The Holy Spirit brings peace, comfort, assurance, and especially hope that a better day IS coming — if only we would allow Him to do His work in our life. Today, when you are faced with a struggle that seems insurmountable, won’t you turn to the Spirit, given by a God who loves you, so that you can be strengthened?
