Declare It!

The prophetic words of Jesus to Peter – related to his own denial of Christ – ought to ring in our ears like a traumatic tale of warning. The fact that each of us must make the same choice (sometimes daily) is a very real possibility, and we should always be prepared to speak the truth, and confess our dependance on Jesus for everything we need.

Now, as we read a bit further in John (chapter 14), the most declarative statement is spoken by Jesus that “He IS the way, the truth, and the life”! Not one way, not a suitable option, but the ONLY way to God, the Father. So, will we choose to defend Him in every facet of our life, and to live like He is everything to us? Will we testify to a society that desperately needs rescuing that He is all they will need, too?
