Often in God’s Word, we are treated to pivotal moments in history when the events, theme, and even the landscape dramatically shifts and forces us to reflect on the majesty of God. The triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem (John 12:12-19) is one of these events, testifying to the glory of God’s perfect timing and the fulfillment of a prophetic event told long before it occurred.
But, should the entrance of Jesus as Messiah change how we view Him today? Should we seek to understand more about this now? Absolutely! For it is when we discover how perfectly God sent His Son to this Earth, and why, it allows us to confess that He was sent for us, too!
Will we take a moment to marvel at this majestic sign, and give Him the praise He is rightly due by also shouting, “Hosannah!!” God bless you.
